MONILINK™ is UK's mobile banking network, providing banking customers with access to their financial information directly from their mobile handsets. It was formed in 2003, with the vision of creating a single consistent interface through which UK consumers could access their bank accounts and perform simple financial transactions while on the move, with the creation of a 'remote control' to their money.
Recognised for its pioneering technology by the World Economic Forum in 2006, the company is a joint venture between VocaLink, the company that runs the UK's ATM network and Monitise, the specialist in mobile banking services.
